COURSE CONTENT This course covers the following: 1: INTRODUCTION TO THE SHAREPOINT PLATFORM Get introduced to SharePoint, a web-based collaboration platform from Microsoft that allow organisations to manage documents, share information and collaborate efficiently. 2: SHAREPOINT SITE, SITE TYPES, CONTENT CREATION AND MANAGEMENT SharePoint sites are the building blocks of the platform, facilitating the creation, organisation and management of content, enabling users to collaborate and share information seamlessly. Learn about Hub sites, Team Sites, Communication sites and more. 3: CONFIGURATION OF SITE SEARCH SETTINGS Involves customising how content is indexed and retrieved, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of search results. This includes setting up search scopes, managed properties and search refiners to improve user experience. 4: INTRODUCTION TO SHAREPOINT SITE COLLECTION Understanding how site collection provides a structured way to organise and manage related sites, enabling centralised administration and consistent policy enforcement. 5: INTRODUCTION TO SHAREPOINT DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT Learn how to organise, store and control access to documents within the platform.
